Note: For MSU graduates that had a Spring semester membership it will be valid through the summer semester.

BUILDING ACCESS ALUMNI

An authorized user with prior verification of Alumni status may use the intramural facilities at IM Sports West, IM Sports East and IM Sports Circle, which includes fitness centers, group exercise classes, basketball gymnasiums, racquetball courts, indoor track (IM East), indoor pools, turf arena (IM West) and squash courts with a related membership (daily, weekly, monthly or semester).

  • Students, Faculty/Staff, MSU Retirees, and Other Eligible Individuals (OEI)

    Students, Faculty/Staff, MSU Retirees, and Other Eligible Individuals (OEI) may be eligible for access to Recreational Sports Facilities with presentation of their valid MSU ID Card.

    Eligibility is determined by MSU Administration.

  • Alumni

    Any further questions regarding Alumni access to our facilities can be answered by contacting the Administrative offices at IM Sports West or emailing Marcia Fittro at fittroma@msu.edu 

  • Community Members

    Recreational Sports Facilities do not offer access to general community members, except for those individuals that purchase Memberships to the MSU Sailing Center

  • Guests

    Those groups who do not have Michigan State University NetID and want to purchase a membership.

    • Fac/Staff Spouse
    • Alumni
    • MSU Academic Guest w/a MSU Spartan Card FPID
    • Fac/Visiting Scholar/Club Sports (F/ZPID/NO PID)

    Recreational Sports Facilities offer limited access to Guests. Guests may only purchase Memberships to the MSU Sailing Center.

  • Family Access

    Recreational Sports Facilities offer designated times for family recreation and/or family swim. During these times students or faculty/staff who have dependent children (age 17 and below) are encouraged to explore and recreate.

    *Dependent children must be accompanied by the respective MSU ID Holder at all times inside the Facility.

    *Family is defined as spouses/OEI and dependent children of the respective student or faculty/staff member.

    *Spouses/OEI of MSU students and faculty/staff may use Facilities outside of Family Recreation Hours if they have paid the necessary fee.

    *Family Recreation is NOT OFFERED for the extended family or friends of any MSU ID Holder.

    PLEASE REFER TO FACILITY HOURS FOR THE MOST UP TO DATE FACILITY ACCESS DETAILS.
