Alumni Access

RECREATIONAL SPORTS ID CARD

Alumni Access to MSU Intramural Sports Facilities

Historically, MSU Alumni have enjoyed access to the Intramural Sports Facilities and this privilege will not change. In order to continue to provide improved and more secure access, a new photograph ID system has been put in place where MSU Alumni receive a durable pictured Recreational Sports ID Card. This card is available to graduates (undergraduate and graduate) of MSU and their spouses or other eligible individuals (OEI) for an annual card activation fee of $25. This card permits access to the MSU Intramural Sports Facilities and expires annually on December 31. Dependent children who are 17 and under may accompany an Alumnus during designated family hours. Dependent children are NOT permitted in the fitness center or group fitness classes. Access to IM facilities is NOT available to the general public.

An authorized user with a Recreational Sports ID Card may use the general intramural facilities at IM Sports West, IM Sports East and IM Sports Circle at no charge, which includes basketball gymnasiums, racquetball courts, indoor track (IM East), indoor pools, turf arena (IM West) and squash courts. With an additional daily fee, alumni can access the fitness centers at IM West and IM East, group exercise classes at any location and the outdoor pool at IM West.
